Hello Mark, you were right, I have enjoyed this Blog immensley. I have been on a tour with you, which has introduced me to many new places. When I come to visit my farming friend in Clunderwen, I shall make a point of travelling to some of them.Best wishes Kath in Bucks
Amazing photos. They remind me of bats emerging at dusk from caves. I signed up to follow you. Drop by my place and have a margarita. http://www.boomerpie.com/
You do have some big flocks there. We do not have such large ones here but maybe 100 to 200 birds land in the grass in the winter to peck at something. I assume there must be something of value.
What a coincidence! The sound must be incredible when they finally come down to roost. That's one of my abiding memories from counting them in Mallorca.
What fabulous pictures of those birds.Almost a CGI effect.
